Finished up another wood chip car today. The close-up pictures really show the edges of the decals badly. They are not noticeable to my naked eye. I don't know why this camera does things like that, as well as making pictures way brighter than they are. Perhaps I just haven't figures out how to use it properly. I have the hardest time taking good pictures.
While I was making up the load for this car, I realized that I have a half dozen other hoppers that need wood chip loads. I made up one for this hopper today too. I make them buy cutting and sanding a foam block, painting it sand color and pressing on real wood chips while the paint is still wet.
