Rail joiners arrived today, but not until late, so I didn't get much track down. I spent most of my time today at the bench. I weathered this CSX hopper using oils, chalks, and decals.
I started my wood chip hopper project with this Kadee box car.
I did it the way the BAR did, I cut off the roof....
....and added extension plates and cross braces.
Ready for paint
Painted and loaded. Waiting on Highball decals to weather and finish.
